If you decide to come and stay at Les Royautes we have plenty of places that you can walk. An early morning walk down to the big lake, an after lunch walk past the lake and into the woods, then back for a siesta. For the more adventurous of you we can plan a route, give you a map, supply a packed lunch and wave you good bye for the day. Then welcome you back later in the day with a drink, a hot shower and a good home cooked meal.

For those of you that would prefer to cover more ground on your day out we have a selection of well maintained cycles. Three mountain bikes, two of which have smooth tyres for road use. We also have the typical racing style bikes with plenty of gears for those up hill parts of the trip.

You will be equipped with a bicycle pump, a puncture repair kit and a chain to lock up the bikes if you need to. Lights can be provided if you are going to be late getting back. Of course we can’t charge you for walking around the estate but there is a small charge for the use of the bikes, this covers any wear and tear. The price is outlined below.
